The European Commission proposes to invest €10.7 billion into the strengthening of civil protection. This will improve readiness for extreme weather, health emergencies, and cyber-attacks.
A further €131 billion will be invested towards Defence and Space, through the European Competitiveness Fund. It will reinforce the defence industry, by driving new investments, facilitating mobility, and continue the support to Ukraine.
