On 6 October 2025, Deputy Prosecutor Nazhat Shameem Khan issued a statement on the judgment issued by Trial Chamber I convicting Mr Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman (also known as Ali Kushayb) for war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Situation in Darfur, Sudan.
