As wildfires grow in intensity and frequency across regions from the Mediterranean basin to the California coast, forestation is increasingly promoted as a nature-based solution to prevent and mitigate their impact.
The challenge lies in ensuring these efforts create healthy, well-managed forests that can withstand fire, rather than fuel it. What role can forestation and technological solutions play in the strategy to fight wildfires?
