UN Secretary-General António Guterres arrived in Nairobi, Kenya ahead of the inaugural Africa Forward Summit, where he called for reform of global institutions and greater representation for Africa. He said the continent’s vast potential continues to be constrained by an unfair international system, pointing to high borrowing costs, climate injustice and underrepresentation in global decision making bodies.
