FBI Cyber Division Assistant Director Brett Leatherman announced the arrest of one of the alleged leaders of ShinyHunters, a group linked to cyberattacks in the U.S., the Netherlands, and around the world. Since last year, ShinyHunters have allegedly breached more than 140 organizations and taken at least $70 million in extortion payments. The arrest was executed by our partners at the Dutch National Police.
