The Code is designed to help industry comply with the AI Act’s rules on general-purpose AI, which will enter into application on 2 August 2025.
The Code consists of three chapters:
Transparency, Copyright, Safety and Security
It was developed by 13 independent experts, with input from over 1,000 stakeholders, including model providers, small and medium-sized enterprises, academics, AI safety experts, rightsholders, and civil society organisations.
On 10 and 11 July 2025 takes place the fourth Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) in Rome, continuing the annual series of high-level political events dedicated to the swift recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine.

The trade discussions between the EU and the US are moving forward, after
President von der Leyen had a fruitful exchange with President Trump.
The EU will stick to its principles, working in good faith and protecting European Industry and Consumers.
Today, the European Commission publishes the 2025 Rule of Law Report. This report is a key instrument to protect and strengthen democracy across the EU.
It highlights both progress and challenges in four essential areas: the justice system, anti-corruption frameworks, media pluralism, and institutional checks and balances. By shining a spotlight on these areas, the EU aims to foster transparency, accountability, and resilience within its democratic systems.
In 1986 the EU flag as we know it today was first hoisted in front of EU headquarters in Brussels. More than 25 years later, the EU welcomed its most recent member state.
