Crisis Response Canines are specifically trained to help reduce anxiety and trauma in crime victims and witnesses. The program started in 2014 and to date the dogs and their handlers in the FBI’s Victim Services Division have helped more than 4,100 victims.

The FBI, in coordination with our partners at Providence Police Department and Rhode Island State Police, is releasing an updated video timeline showing the movements of a person of interest in the mass shooting at Brown University on December 13, 2025.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual responsible. Anyone with information can contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or tips.fbi.gov.
