WEIDE Fund: Partner in Mongolia

The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) signed a memorandum of understanding with the WTO and ITC on 4 June as a partner of the Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund.
MNCCI will support
the WEIDE Fund’s operation in Mongolia, one of four countries which are part of the WEIDE’s Fund first activities.

Fisheries Subsidies: Nicaragua’s acceptance

On 2 June, WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala received Nicaragua’s instrument of acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies from Nicaragua’s WTO Ambassador Rosalía Bohorquez Palacios. Just ten more acceptances are needed for the Agreement to enter into force.

Fisheries Subsidies: Malawi’s acceptance

On 28 May, WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala received Malawi’s instrument of acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies from Malawi’s WTO Ambassador Caroline Bwanali-Mussa. Malawi brings to 100th the number of WTO members that have deposited their instrument with the WTO.
