Almost 200 countries across the world have pledged to protect 30% of their ocean by 2030. But right now, there’s a lot of work to do, with just 10% of the global ocean protected.
#Ghana just took a big step forward with the establishment of the Greater Cape Three Points marine protected area.
The ocean reserve will protect coastal ecosystems rich in biodiversity, and in turn support fish stocks so that communities of fishers can sustain their livelihoods.
