Historian and author Sir Antony Beevor gave a lecture to members of the House of Lords entitled ‘History and Our Repetition of Mistakes’ on 30 June 2026.
Sir Antony is the author of the best-selling books Stalingrad, Berlin: The Downfall, D-Day and The Second World War, and is co-author with Artemis Cooper of Paris After the Liberation. This year he published Rasputin: And the Downfall of the Romanovs.
