Government today joins the families and communities of Ekurhuleni in remembering and honouring the women whose lives were tragically cut short amid the ongoing scourge of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF). The Memorial Service, led by government, comes as the nation confronts the devastating loss of women whose bodies were discovered in and around Ekurhuleni, with investigations continuing into the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
