Source: European Commission (video statements)

The European Commission has proposed lifting protective measures affecting Hungary under the EU’s conditionality regulation.

If adopted by the Council, the proposal would reinstate €4.2 billion in Cohesion funding and restore full access to Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe for students and researchers at affected Hungarian universities.
The Council has one month to decide on the proposal.
