‘Maker skills’ are the engine of the global economy.
These core practical abilities – in construction, operation and resources handling – account for almost half of #employment worldwide.
But demand is running way ahead of supply, which means in many regions there’s a shortage of people with these skills. In the US, people with maker skills are doing five times as much overtime as other workers, on average.
