DR Congo: Ebola Cases Top 8,000 as WHO Pushes Early Access to Care

The Democratic Republic of the Congo has recorded 8,067 confirmed Ebola cases and 3,901 deaths, according to Congolese authorities. WHO says early access to care can significantly improve chances of survival, as it works with partners to expand treatment capacity, strengthen referral systems and improve access to lifesaving oxygen.
