Welcome to the SDG Media Zone / UN Peace Circle | United Nations

To mark the International Day of Peace (21 September), the United Nations will
host an intergenerational Peace Circle that brings together youth peace
advocates and their allies for a solutions-based conversation around “how might
we invest in peace – for everyone, everywhere, every day.” Peace Circles are
part of the UN’s youth-centred Hear Us. Act Now for a Peaceful World campaign.
It champions the inclusion of, investment in, and partnership with youth in
building peace and feeds into the UN Secretary-General forthcoming
independent progress study on how youth contribute to peace, mandated by the
Pact for the Future.
