EU Releases €2.8 Billion for Rebuilding Ukraine’s Infrastructure and State Firms

The European Union has mobilised €2.8 billion for Ukraine in loans and guarantees to help Ukraine meet its financing needs, including repairing damaged infrastructure, ensuring municipal services and supporting strategic state-owned companies, in the face of Russia’s war of aggression.

This is part of the EU’s €204.8 billion overall support to Ukraine and Ukrainians, including €75.2 billion in military assistance and over €108.8 billion in financial and budget support and humanitarian assistance.

The European Commission supports Ukraine’s recovery, reconstruction and modernisation in line with its EU path.
